Therefore the Lord Himself will give you a sign: Behold, a virgin will be with child and bear a son, and she will call his name Immanuel. Isaiah 7:14
What does it mean to you for God to be “With Us?” Share you answer or spend a moment in wonder about that. Isaiah gives us the prophecy of the coming Christ and virgin birth and the NAME that reveals that God will be with us on earth. This was also meant to be a sign for the people of God’s abiding presence on earth. As we continue to press through this pandemic we look for signs that God is with us. Share where you have seen God lately, even in the midst of the chaos that is the present times.
God, let the gift of Immanuel be felt as we navigate the uncertainty of todays’ everyday life. AMEN
