Wonder of a Manger

But Mary treasured all these words and pondered them in her heart. Luke 2:19
To Wonder and to Ponder are very similar things. I wonder how long Mary pondered on these things until she herself started sharing. Mary does share with her Magnificat (Luke 1:47-55) that her soul magnifies the Lord and her spirit rejoices in God her Savior!
She must have been thinking on the events of the last year of her life. Ups and downs, good days and bad days. Still, her faith in God allows her to wonder in this moment of sharing from the shepherds, how blessed she really was. God had truly blessed her with giving birth to the blessing of the world.
God, help us to be like Mary and let our souls magnify you to all the world. AMEN
